Message From the Acting Headteacher

The school, part of Lionheart Educational Trust since July 2024, caters for the pupils of Newhall and the surrounding areas. We are a junior school, ranging in pupil age from 7 to 11 years old.  

We aim to ensure that ALL pupils are engaged and challenged in their learning, following our school pedagogy. Our aim is to encourage independent learning, ready for secondary school. We endeavour to cater for those who require additional support in academic, social and physical areas; always placing the child at the centre of every decision made.   We strive to ensure that pupils enjoy their time at school, catering for the 'whole child'.  

A significant number of pupils join us in Year 3 from Newhall Infant School, which is situated on the same campus, however the catchment area for the school extends to other localities. As the school also shares the campus with the Mercia Academy (also part of Lionheart), many pupils move onto their secondary education there.
