Memorable residential trip to Lea Green

This half term, our Year 6 pupils embarked on an unforgettable residential trip to Lea Green, packed with thrilling activities and invaluable life lessons.

Throughout the trip, the children faced a series of challenges designed to test their physical abilities and also encourage teamwork, resilience and independence.

The adventure began with the low ropes course, where pupils navigated obstacles close to the ground, building trust and cooperation with their peers. Next, they ascended up to the high ropes course, a heart-pounding experience that saw many conquer fears and develop confidence.

Back on the ground, stream walking offered a refreshing break, allowing the children to explore nature and work together to navigate the terrain.

As night fell, the students took part in a night walk, experiencing the outdoors in a different light and fostering a sense of adventure and independence. The trip concluded with exciting buggy rides, adding an element of fun and excitement to the experience.

Overall, the residential trip to Lea Green was a resounding success, helping the children grow both individually and as a team. The activities not only tested their physical abilities but also encouraged valuable life skills that will stay with them for years to come.
