School choir shines at Young Voices Concert

Held at Resorts World in Birmingham, this event invites a variety of school choirs from across the country to unite and sing a variety of songs with a live band and composer.

Our school choir – comprising 33 children from Year 4, 5 and 6 – practised since September for this event, meeting up after school once a week.

Alongside 6,000 other pupils, they entertained all in attendance with some stunning musical performances, including Hairspray the Musical Medley, The Pop Medley, Let's Dance Medley, Try Everything, a Bob Marley Medley, Oceania and Birdhouse in Your Soul.

For some of the songs, the children even learned a British Sign Language routine and several dance routines to accompany others.

A huge thank you to our parents and carers who supported with the event and to those who were able to come and see the show. We can’t wait to do it all over again next year.
